The most effective facelift without surgery
You have access to a completely unique treatment method for a facelift without surgery. HIFU (High-intensity focused ultrasound) is based on high-frequency ultrasound energy, which allows the impulse to effectively and precisely affect many different points in the skin layers.
The results of HIFU treatment can be seen almost immediately, which is why it has gained great popularity both in Europe and the United States. HIFU has been in use at Kuulas since fall 2017, and our customers have been extremely satisfied with the results of the treatment.
Why does HIFU work?
Caretech HIFU technology is based on focused, high-intensity ultrasound energy that is precisely directed to the desired SMAS depth (Superficial muscular aponeurotic system). In the tissue, ultrasound accelerates the renewal of skin collagen, which naturally tightens the skin. Ultrasound affects the face up to a depth of 4.5mm, which is normally only reached with a surgeon's scalpel.

We often get a clear picture of your starting point and whether Hifu is the right treatment for you in the first discussion. Sometimes the result may be to start tightening the skin and improving health with other treatments and possibly do Hifu in the future.
You can purchase your own HIFU treatment at Kuulas and book your time. We always conduct an assessment at Kuulas before performing Hifu. The price of the treatment is approximately 420-810 euros depending on the area to be treated.
HIFU treatment
The duration of one HIFU treatment session is 60-90 minutes, and results can often be seen and felt immediately after the treatment. The final result is best seen about 2-3 months after the treatment. The treatment can be repeated three months after the first treatment.
Why Kuulas?
Kuulas is one of Finland's most experienced HIFU treatment providers. We have been using a new generation HIFU device since the beginning of 2023.
Our starting point is safe and effective treatments at a reasonable price. We use a device whose components are selected and tested by Finnish Cosmedi Oy. The device is sold only to SKY cosmetologists, nurses, or doctors who undergo the importer's training for its use.
The treatment feels like a slight tingling, and few find the treatment painful. None of our clients have interrupted the treatment due to pain.
After the treatment, it is not recommended to engage in strenuous exercise, use a sauna, sweat in general, or sunbathe.
For some, Hifu may cause a slight redness on the treated area, but it subsides in less than half an hour. Rarely, but in some cases, small bruises have appeared.

You can apply makeup immediately after the treatment.
Some may see and feel significant results immediately. Generally, effects gradually appear up to three months. The effect of Hifu gradually fades with aging. The interval for possible repeat treatments is largely determined individually and according to the client's goals.
Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee certain results or that you will be 100% satisfied. Treatment is influenced by genetic factors and various deficiencies in the body. If you haven't taken care of your body and skin in recent years, we recommend starting with other treatments at Kuulas to better prepare your skin to benefit from the HIFU treatment.
After injection treatments, it is advisable to wait at least two weeks.
It is not advisable to perform Hifu on areas with fillers. A good order is to have Hifu first and then filler treatment.
It's difficult for us to comment on different companies' pricing, but at least ensure the following:
- The treatment provider is a SKY cosmetologist, nurse, or doctor
- The treatment provider has undergone training by the device manufacturer or importer. An untrained provider can potentially cause damage.
- The device is preferably purchased from a Finnish importer and meets European safety standards. Our device is purchased from Finnish Cosmedi Oy. Note that Hifu devices are sold, for example, in Chinese online stores, and these devices sold directly to consumers cannot be compared to those designed for professional use.
- The treatment is always done at two different depths during one session. Sometimes special offers may only include one round, leaving the treatment incomplete.
