You do not need to know in advance which treatment would be best for your skin. Kuulas professionals assess your skin as a whole and use this to create a treatment concept tailored to you.

Kuulas has developed its DMK expertise over many years. DMK specialist/trainer Jessica Delst’s extensive DMK experience supports the whole team’s work. We select the treatment stages according to the skin’s current needs and monitor how it responds.

Who is the treatment suitable for?

DMK is a true skin maintenance treatment, focusing on skin wellbeing, balance and supporting its natural functions – beyond a temporary surface effect. After treatment, the skin feels softer and calmer and immediately looks fresher. DMK treatment is always planned according to the skin’s current condition and can also be performed on sensitive, reactive and inflamed skin.

DMK treatment can be tailored to different skin types and needs – including sensitive, reactive skin and skin showing signs of inflammation. Goals may include calming and balancing the skin, reducing blemishes, easing dryness and sensitivity, evening out skin tone or supporting ageing skin.

Enzyme therapy is the hallmark of DMK treatment

DMK’s treatment philosophy combines renewal of the skin’s surface, balancing care, protection and maintenance of results. The enzyme mask dries firmly on the skin and forms the treatment’s distinctive stage.

The skin’s needs may also change with life circumstances, the seasons and the home skincare being used. Treatment and home skincare products are therefore always selected individually according to the skin’s current condition.

Your personalised DMK treatment plan

DMK also suits a wide range of specific skin needs, such as treatment concepts for rosacea and atopic skin. Treatment can also be planned individually when medication is being used – taking into account the skin’s condition, tolerance and current products.

For long-standing skin concerns, the best results are built through a planned course of treatments and suitable daily home skincare. We monitor changes in your skin together and adjust treatment as needed.

As DMK treatment requires no downtime, it is also an excellent choice before a special occasion.

DMK can also be combined with Dermapen microneedling when the combination supports the treatment goals.

The treatment also supports the results of other treatments and works excellently as preparatory and restorative skincare before and after aesthetic procedures. Its lymphatic circulation-activating effect supports skin recovery and reduces swelling.

What happens during your visit

We begin by reviewing your skin and home skincare routine. Following cleansing and individually selected preparation, the enzyme mask is applied. While it works, you can relax as we explain what sensations to expect.

After removing the mask, we finish with suitable products. Your visit includes home care guidance: what to continue, what may need reducing and how we will monitor changes.

How it feels

You may feel warmth, tightness and pulsation in your skin. These sensations are related to skin and body functions being activated during treatment.

The treatment activates microcirculation and tissue metabolism, supporting the skin’s supply of oxygen and nutrients.

The plasmatic effect

The dilation of capillaries produces the plasmatic effect, which is briefly visible on the skin’s surface. This visible phenomenon soon fades, but its restorative effects deep within the tissue last a long time.
