This nourishing product contains retinaldehyde (Retinal), which helps reduce scars, deep wrinkles, fine lines, and atrophy by regulating healthy cell renewal. Retinaldehyde is better tolerated than retinoic acid, making it a good option for those with sensitive or delicate skin.

Retinal Active is approved by Dermapen as a pre- and post-operative cream for microneedling. It can also be used continuously as a firming night cream for the face.

Usage

To build skin tolerance, use Retinal Active every 2-3 days for 1-2 weeks, then increase to nightly use. Use only in the evening.

1. Cleanse the skin with Tri-Phase Cleanser.
2. Dispense 2-3 pumps and massage gently until the product is absorbed.
3. Apply sparingly to dry and cleansed face, neck, and décolleté.

Increase skin tolerance with Retinal Active for two weeks before the Dermapen microneedling procedure. Recommended for continuous use as a firming facial night cream for three days after microneedling and other anti-aging treatments. If irritation occurs, alternate use every other night or every third night.

Shelf Life of DP Dermaceuticals Products

The packaging of DP Dermaceuticals products is marked with the manufacturing date (MNF/MFG/Batch). Products remain good for five years from the manufacturing date when the package is unopened.

Once the product is opened, the PAO marking (Period After Opening) on the packaging applies, indicating how many months the product is usable after opening. The general usage period is 6–12 months depending on the product.
