Although Dermapen HOME resembles the Dermapen 4™ microneedling device, its treatment settings are different. This ensures safety and ease of use for microneedling performed at home.
Just as the award-winning Dermapen 4 is the world's most popular microneedling device developed for professional use, Dermapen HOME has been developed to lead the consumer market in home microneedling.
Guidance and execution of treatment at home. Follow these steps to ensure safe and effective treatment at home:
1. Preparations.
Clean the device and treatment environment thoroughly before each use. Use Clini Prep disinfectant wipes to wipe the device.
Wash hands and face with antibacterial TRI Phase Cleanser, pat the skin dry, and disinfect it.
2. Preparing the device.
Open the sterile needle cartridge package. Attach a new needle cartridge to the device by turning it clockwise until it is securely attached. Turn on the device by holding the side button for 3 seconds. Adjust the needle depth and speed according to the treatment area.
3. Performing the treatment.
Apply HYLA-ACTIVE to the treatment area layer by layer. Remove the needle safety cap. Activate the device by pressing the power button quickly again. Treat the area one at a time:
- Forehead: level 1–4
- Around the eyes: level 1–4
- Nose: level 2
- Around the lips: level 1–4
- Chin and cheeks: level 4
- Cheekbone: level 2–4
- Scars: level 4
Use light and even pressure. Move the device in straight parallel lines in four directions: vertically - horizontally - diagonally left - diagonally right. Lift the device between each stroke to ensure even treatment.
4. After the treatment.
Turn off the device. Remove the used needle and clean the device thoroughly. If desired, you can place a Hyla Active sheet mask on the skin for 15 minutes to soothe the skin. Remove the mask and apply Vitamin Rich Repair cream. Remember to use sunscreen after the treatment to keep the skin protected.
